Reflections
What went right?
I feel that overall, my dish was better than my expectations. I did not expect myself to cook the fish so nicely, and the carrots also made my dish look colourful.
What needed improvement?
I think that I could have cut the carrots into thinner pieces. I was worried about the time constrains and decided to cut into slightly thicker pieces. It would have been better if I have cut them into smaller pieces.
How was the practical session?
I feel that it went well and smoothly. I only took out the needed items, so there was lesser to clear. It was a lot better than my practice session, where I was lost.What have you learnt?
I have learnt that by remaining calm, I can do better. Although I was afraid that I would not be able to bring out the taste of the food, I tried my best and I feel accomplished.
I remember that when I first started out, I thought I would never be able to cook. However, after these seven weeks, I have gained a lot more confidence, and I feel that ultimately, I have learnt to be more confident in myself.
